Sexo SinVergüenzas is a transmedia project that combines interactive tools, social media, and audiovisual materials through journalism. We want to tell stories that clarify the panorama of access to sexual and reproductive rights based on users' experiences and public data about the health service provided by the State, but we also offer an alternative way to find truthful and positive information about sexual and reproductive health. This project is the origin of Alharaca, the feminist media organization I co-founded in 2019.
Project stages
The fist iteration of the project included a special publication (2018) that consisted of:
a series of 3 feature publications about the status of reproductive health in El Salvador

After that, the project went on as a social media account (2018-2021), where audiences could share their experiences and find information on reproductive and sexual health.
Sexo SinVergüenzas - section within Alharaca
Between 2020 and 2021, the project transitioned to Alharaca’s website and social media and became a section within Alharaca’s content.
